A bloated stomach makes you feel full even though you have not taken much food. So you can say that though you had a minor meal regarding quantity, the stomach gives you a feel that it is full. In simple terms, it is called a digestive disorder.

What is the digestion procedure?

In the digestion process, the food that you consume is processed in the intestine and stomach. After this, the residual substance is sent to the colon for the excretory purpose. But in some cases, some foods are moved to the colon in unprocessed or undigested condition. Then fermentation due to bacteria happens in the intestine, and as a result of this gas is produced. This is a normal process and the gas generated will not trouble you much. But this condition may worsen in the case when due to some cause the digestion process is very sluggish, the gas production enhances, and you then feel the uneasiness in the stomach. The generic symptoms are marked by tight abdomen or chest, swelling in the abdomen, cramps, and regular burps or tendency to vomit or hiccups and so on.

Some reasons that may lead to bloated stomach

You commonly experience stomach bloating generally after consuming fatty and spicy foods. The reason is that these types of foods are difficult to digest and in turn, it makes the digestion process very sluggish and slow.   •  If you eat at odd hours, having irregular eating orders.
  • If you do not chew your food properly and eat very fast.
  • If you use straw in the case of sipping beverages and frequent chewing of chewing gum can cause the excess intake of air and result in stomach bloating.
  • If your digestive system is intolerant to certain food products like dairy products and protein gluten.
  • Some vegetables produce a lot of gas in their digestion process they are cauliflower, onion, garlic, cabbage and others.
  • Some gastrointestinal issues like constipation can also cause bloating.

You can relieve yourself of this bloated stomach by quickly applying some methods and ingredients that are always present in your kitchens. They help to release the accumulated intestinal gas. Some of which are:
• Water
The simplest cure-all which is so handy is water. What you can do to ease the pain is drink a glass of warm water instead of cold water. This shall enhance squeezing and relaxation of the intestinal wall muscles. This will help in quicker absorption of the food and decrease the generation of gas to a large extent.
• Lemon and Ginger
A particular combination of ginger with lemon will surely work a miracle in the case of the bloated stomach. You can get a small portion of ginger root and then slice into thin Julians. Next, you should take the juice of a lemon in a small bowl by squeezing it. Next step is to soak the thin ginger pieces in the lemon juice for almost one hour almost. Now you can eat one or two such soaked ginger slices. You can feel the immediate result. You can use this remedy by storing in in the refrigerator and use it as per need.
• Asafoetida
Asafoetida is another component which can relieve you of the stomach gas fast. There are different ways to use it. The simplest one is to add a pinch of asafoetida in one glass of water, then drinking it. Another remedial way is to mix – cardamom powder, dried ginger powder, black salt and asafoetida in equal proportions in the small amount and keep it in a small bottle. Whenever you are experiencing the condition of the bloated stomach, you can take half a teaspoon of this blend.
• Cinnamon
Cinnamon is another Medicine For Bloating. It can alleviate a severe stomach bloating condition. For an easy relief option what you can do is add a teaspoon of finely crushed cinnamon in one glass of drinking water and add some honey to it. You can then have it to release the stomach gas.
